Albert Miller (athlete)
Albert Barry Miller (born December 12, 1957 in Kasavu ) is a Fijian decathlete and hurdler .
In 1983 he won the decathlon at the South Pacific Games in Apia and won silver over the 110 m hurdles . At the decathlon of the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he gave up.
In 1986 he was tenth in the decathlon at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh . The following year he defended his decathlon title at the South Pacific Games in Nouméa and was again second in the 110 m hurdles. At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988, he finished 32nd in the decathlon and was eliminated over 110 m hurdles in the preliminary run.
In 1991 he won the South Pacific Games in Port Moresby for the third time in a row in the decathlon and won bronze over the 110 m hurdles. At the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona he came in 24th in the decathlon and was eliminated in the first round over 110 m hurdles. In 1995 he won silver in the decathlon at the South Pacific Games in Papeete.
Since 2010 he has been President of the Fijian Athletics Federation.
