Albert Mohr (born July 2, 1929 in Bad Hindelang , † June 15, 2005 in Esslingen am Neckar ) was a German cross-country skier .

Career

Albert Mohr from Oberallgäu began his sporting career in alpine skiing . He succeeded in setting the course record for the Iseler descent in 1947 , for which he was honored with the golden fir.

Mohr later competed as a cross-country skier and won the German Nordic Ski Championships in 1951 in Neustadt over the 18-kilometer distance and in the relay. In 1952 he took part in the VI. Olympic Winter Games in Oslo and achieved 7th place and 65th place over the 18 km distance with the relay. In 1953 Albert Mohr was again German champion in the 18-kilometer distance and then ended his career as a skier.
