Albert Nikolajewitsch Benois ( Russian Альберт Николаевич Бенуа , Albert Nikolajewitsch Benua ; born March 14, 1852 in Saint Petersburg , † May 16, 1936 in Fontenay-aux-Roses ) was a Russian watercolor painter .

The Benois family had produced various artists. Albert was the eldest son of the architect Nikolai Benois , brother of the painter and set designer Alexander Benois , uncle of the painter Sinaida Serebrjakowa , and great-uncle of Peter Ustinov . Albert's daughter Maria married the Russian composer and pianist Nikolai Nikolajewitsch Tscherepnin (1873–1945). Her son Alexander Nikolayevich Tscherepnin was also a composer and pianist.
