Albert Schödlbauer

Albert Schödlbauer (born November 23, 1934 in Munich ) is a university professor i. R. at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich and author of several textbooks .

Until September 2000 he was Professor of General Geodesy at the Institute for Geodesy and Geoinformation of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Surveying . Two textbooks deserve special mention among his publications:

  • Calculation formulas and calculation examples for land surveying , part 1 and part 2, Herbert Wichmann Verlag Karlsruhe 1981, and
  • Geodetic Astronomy - Fundamentals and Concepts . The latter was published in 1999/2000 by De Gruyter-Verlag Berlin / New York and quickly became a standard work; a second edition is planned.
