Albert Schimmel

Albert Schimmel (* unknown; † unknown) was a German table tennis player . He took part in the 1933 World Cup.

successes

Schimmel played at Bar Kochba Frankfurt around 1931 and at Eintracht Frankfurt from 1932 . Later in 1932 he performed again for Bar Kochba Frankfurt. He was second in the individual behind Paul Benthien at the National German Championship in Hamburg in 1933 .

At the 1933 World Cup in Baden (Lower Austria) he reached seventh place with the German men's team. In the singles he lost to Michael Grobauer (CSSR) after a bye. In mixed with Astrid Krebsbach he defeated Roberts / Anastasia Flussmann (England / Austria) and then failed to the Austrian couple Paul Flußmann / Ladstätter. He stayed away from the double competition.

Albert Schimmel played a total of three international matches.
