Albert Weingartner

Albert Weingartner (born July 17, 1951 in Berlin ) is a Berlin politician.

Act

Weingartner was a member of the FDP for 19 years, where he held various, primarily local political functions. From 2001 to 2006 he was parliamentary group leader of the FDP in the Berlin Tempelhof-Schöneberg District Council.

The independent businessman Weingartner was a member of the Berlin House of Representatives from 2006 to 2011 and was a member of the FDP until the beginning of September 2010 . He was spokesman for the FDP parliamentary group in the committees for urban development and transport as well as building and housing. In September 2010 he announced his exit from the FDP and moved to the CDU parliamentary group.

For this he was a member of the committee for urban development and transport as well as sport, administrative reform and communication and information technology, as well as the 2nd investigation committee "HOWOGE" in the Berlin House of Representatives.

Weingartner is married and has two children.
