Albert Züblin

Albert Züblin (born July 13, 1905 in Zurich ; † March 5, 1980 in Männedorf ) was a Swiss general staff officer .

Career

He was a son of the lawyer and Colonel Brigadier Anton Züblin and his wife Constance, nee. Wittwer and Georg Züblin's younger brother . From 1924 he studied law in Zurich and received his doctorate in 1929 with a paper on legal protection in military insurance . After that, worked as a lawyer. In 1940 he became a general staff officer and held this position for 30 years. In 1951 he was promoted to colonel . From 1949 to 1952 he was Chief of Staff of the 6th Division . From 1957 to 1958 he was chief of staff of the 4th Army Corps . He was in command of the 26th Infantry Regiment .

He had been with Fanny, geb. Ammann, married.
