Alberto Abruzzese

Alberto Abruzzese (born August 14, 1942 in Rome ) is an Italian literary and media scholar who has also made a name for himself as an actor and director .

Life

As a scientist at the University of La Sapienza in Rome , Abruzzese published several books on modern mass media, including the widely acclaimed work porn graffiti on "adult comics". In addition to his specialty, he also worked as a journalist for numerous newspapers, for television, radio and with Achille Pisanti on an investigation into seriality .

Abruzzese appeared as an actor e.g. B. in Nanni Moretti's Ecce bombo and as a production manager in several television films. In 1986 he directed Anemia together with Achille Pisanti , his only film that he directed based on his own satirical horror pulp novel.
