Achille Pisanti

Achille Pisanti (born August 1, 1952 in Naples ) is an Italian television director .

Life

Pisanti engaged in amateur films and graduated in literary studies. During his studies he got to know Alberto Abruzzese , with whom he worked again and again; her thesis on the Nouvelle Vague was already done in cooperation. For several years Pisanti was employed by RAI , for which he directed. He spent some time in the United States, where he also accompanied shows and studied the relationship between cinema and television. Back in Italy, several projects with Abruzzese and the cultural program "Capri Blues" for television emerged. In 1985 Pisanti directed the film Anemia , again with Abruzzese. At the end of the 1990s he returned to television and coordinated the series Vivere and Un posto al sole, which he wrote . In 2007 he wrote Io e mamma , a six-episode mini-series with Cesare Bocci and Stefania Sandrelli .
