Alberto Coyote

Héctor Alberto Coyote Tapia (born March 26, 1967 in Celaya , Guanajuato ) is a former Mexican soccer player who was mostly used in defensive midfield and often performed with flying colors his "favorite task" of eliminating or at least disrupting the opposing playmaker .

Career

First Coyote played for his hometown club Celaya in the fourth division and then for the third division Salamanca . He made his debut in the Primera División in 1990/91 in the service of León AC in one of those hot derbies that have always electrified the state of Guanajuato: against Deportivo Irapuato .

Before the 1993/94 season he moved to Chivas Guadalajara , with whom he became champions in the summer of 1997. In 2001 he moved to Atlante , where he ended his playing career in 2002.

Alberto Coyote made his international debut on August 2, 1992 in Los Angeles against Colombia (0-0). He was part of the squad of the Mexican national team that competed in the 1993 CONCACAF Gold Cup and the Confederations Cup in 1995 and 2001.
