Hanna Rucker

Hanna Rucker (born December 14, 1923 in Munich , † July 2, 1982 in London ; actually Johanna Rucker ) was a German theater and film actress .

Life

Hanna Rucker, who was born the daughter of a tax inspector, made her debut at the Kammerspiele in Munich in 1946 . Further stations in her theatrical activity were the Schloßpark and Schillertheaters in Berlin. From 1955 to 1956 she then played on the Kleine Komödie in her hometown of Munich.

Rucker began her film career in the late 1940s. The 1949 rubble film where the trains go with Carl Raddatz and Heidemarie Hatheyer was her first film work. The following year she was seen in the fairy tale film Die Kalte Herz, produced by DEFA . She also worked for television, starring in 1955 in the film The Hot Heart and in 1956 in Kolibri . She ended her film career in 1956 with the passion drama Hot Harvest by Hans H. König , based on neo-realistic models .

In 1957 she married the Canadian producer Mo Rothman and went to England with him . The couple had two children: Monique and Nicole. Even after the divorce in 1976, Hanna Rucker stayed in England, where she died in July 1982 at the age of 58.
