Alberto Gonçalves da Costa (born December 31, 1980 in Belém ), also known as Beto , is an Indonesian football player of Brazilian origin.
Career
He started his career in 1999 at SC Belém , where he was under contract for one season. From 2000 to 2008 he was under contract at the clubs CA Vila Rica , São Raimundo EC , Abaeté FC , CA Bragantino , Atlético Coín , SCEV Bomastar , Tuna Luso Brasileira , Remo , Farroupilha , CN Marcílio Dias and EC Juventude .
After nine years in Brazil, he moved to the Indonesian club Persipura Jayapura in 2008 . A year later he moved to the Indian club Dempo SC . From 2010 to 2011 he was under contract with the Indonesian clubs Persijap Jepara and Persipura Jayapura. From 2013 to 2018 he was under contract with the Indonesian clubs Arema Malang , Penang FA and Sriwijaya FC . He has been playing for Madura United since 2019 .
