Alberto Pozzetti

Alberto Pozzetti (born September 11, 1914 in Acqui Terme , † 2002 in Rome ) was an Italian documentary filmmaker and screenwriter .

Life

Pozzetti graduated in architecture and then attended the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia ; from this time comes an experience as an assistant director to Goffredo Alessandrini . He then devoted himself to documentary film and from 1938 to the end of the 1950s presented numerous works, mostly on cultural topics. On a few occasions Pozzetti worked as a screenwriter; he also shot again as assistant director with Gianni Franciolini . Two collaborations in 1950 and 1951 form his own excursions into the feature film sector.
