Albinas Januška

Albinas Januška (born June 2, 1960 in Sarapiniškės , Tauragė district ) is a Lithuanian politician and diplomat .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1978 at the Trakai boarding school , he studied from 1978 to 1983 at the Vilniaus universitetas and at the Leningrad University in Russia. From 1983 to 1990 he was a research assistant at the Institute for Applied Enzymology . From 1990 to 1992 he was a deputy at the Seimas . From 1992 he worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania , from 1993 to 1998 as Deputy Minister and then as Ambassador .

From 1988 he was a member of Sąjūdis and from 1989 the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
