The Albino Rookery is a m high breeding colony of Adelie penguins on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located on the Langnes Peninsula in the Vestfold Mountains .

The Australian radio operator Ronald W. McLean had discovered an albino penguin here in December 1969 , which gave the name given by the Antarctic Names Committee of Australia in 1971 .
