Albino da Silva

Albino da Silva is a politician and independence activist from East Timor . He belongs to the Tutuala Ratu (clan of the Fataluku ).

In January 2000, the Conselho Nacional de Resistência Timorense (CNRT) organized elections in East Timor, which was still occupied by Indonesia , in order to build structures up to the Aldeias . Albino da Silva was elected district secretary of the CNRT in Lautém . In January 2001, Silva was in the Provisional National Council ( National Council NC) as a representative for the district appointed. The NC was dissolved on July 14, 2001 in preparation for the Constituent Assembly elections .

In the service of the Reception, Truth and Reconciliation Commission of East Timor (CAVR), Silva was sworn in on May 15, 2002 as regional commissioner for the Lautém district.
