The Albone Glacier is a narrow and deeply furrowed glacier in Grahamland, West Antarctica . It flows south from the Detroit Plateau on the east side of the Wolseley Buttress .
The Falkland Island Dependencies Survey carried out a mapping based on its own surveys between 1960 and 1961. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the glacier after Dan Albone (1860–1906), founder of the Ivel company and designer of the first efficient tractor with a combustion engine .
