Albrecht Ludloff

Albrecht K. Ludloff (born November 2, 1924 on Gut Bromberg, East Prussia ) is a German engineer and inventor .

Life

For many years Albrecht Ludloff was head of the radar signal processing department at AEG-Telefunken in Ulm and later in a similar position at Daimler-Benz Aerospace ( DASA ).

His work on radar technology and radar signal processing was primarily intended for defense technology (including target acquisition, radar (dis) camouflage). In 1978 he presented the AEG-Telefunken MTS 3/23 display system for target acquisition and positioning in combat aircraft.

He worked with the later Professor Hermann Rohling at AEG-Telefunken and published together with him. In 1982 he published the results of a project funded by the Federal Ministry of Transport as a co-author .

In the position of department head, he wrote a large number of publications (scientific papers and important patents , because they have continued to refer to the present day ). As a result of this work, in 1993 he published the volumes on radar and radar signal processing, which have meanwhile become a standard work (often quoted, now in the 3rd or 4th edition, available at a large number of libraries) .
