The Alders Brook is a watercourse in the London Borough of Waltham Forest and the London Borough of Redbridge . It is a tributary of the River Roding , which branches off from the main arm in the east of the City of London Cemetery and runs parallel to it in a south direction. The main arm turns slightly to the east while Alders Brook north of Romford Road ( A118 road ) turns almost at right angles to the east to flow back into the main river.
