Aldo Galli

Aldo Galli (born November 10, 1906 in Como ; † March 6, 1981 in Lugano ) was an Italian painter and member of the Astrattisti Comaschi artist group in Como.

Life

Galli studied painting and graphics in Brera . In 1932 he returned to Como and was involved in the artistic movements around the rationalist architect Giuseppe Terragni and the abstract painters Manlio Rho and Mario Radice . Other well-known members were Carla Badiali and Carla Prina.

The Accademia di Belle Arti in Como is named after Aldo Galli ( Accademia di belle arti "Aldo Galli" ).
