Aldona Baranauskienė

Aldona Baranauskienė (born January 13, 1948 in the Belarusian SSR ) is a Lithuanian politician of Polish origin, former minister.

Life

After graduating from high school, she completed a degree in civil engineering at VISI in 1973 . From February 1996 to December 1996 she was Minister of Construction and Urbanism in the Stankevičius Cabinet (7th Lithuanian government). From 1971 to 1974 she was a member of the Trakai Council and from 2002 to 2007 of the Vilnius City Council . She worked as a deputy director at the Central Agency for Project Management (VšĮ Centrinė projektų valdymo agentūra ).

Aldona Baranauskienė was a member of the CPSU , Liberalų ir centro sąjunga and Naujoji Sąjunga .

She is married. With her husband Vigimantas Baranauskas she has two daughters and one son.

Aldona Baranauskienė speaks Lithuanian, Russian, English, Polish and German.
