Aldous Harding is the stage name of Hannah Sian Topp (* 1990 ), a New Zealand singer-songwriter and guitarist who is known for her artistically original, but also eccentric appearances in her music videos (e.g., accompanied by an electric piano) B. Zoo Eyes , The Barrel or Blend ). She describes her musical genre as "Gothic Folk".

Live and act

Harding comes from the port city of Lyttelton . Her mother is the folk singer Lorena Harding, who can be seen as a stick dancer on the video for the song Horizon . She was discovered when she was making street music with Anika Moa . In 2014 her debut album was released; In early 2017 she signed a contract with the record company 4AD , where her second album was released in May 2017. Her third album Designer made her internationally known in 2019.
