Ale Bagu , also known by the name Ummuna , is an elongated, 1031 meter high stratovolcano southwest of the Erta Ale volcano . It is the highest of the Erta Ale volcano chain. In contrast to the other volcanoes of the Erta Ale chain, the Ale Bagu is covered with basaltic pyroclastic rock. The summit craters are oriented from north-northwest to south-southeast. The main crater measures 750 × 450 meters.
