Alejandra Barros (born August 11, 1971 in Mexico City ) is a Mexican actress who has appeared in many telenovelas .

Life

Barros studied theater at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute and dance at the Broadway Dance Center in New York .

She got her first role in 1996 in the television series Confidente de secundaria . In 1998 she appeared in all three episodes of the Mexican telenovela Huracán . In the following years she also played in various television series. For example in 2002 in 25 episodes of Clase 406 and in 2006 in 20 episodes of La verdad oculta .

In 2010 and 2011 she appeared in the role of Bárbara Mantilla in 146 episodes of Para volver a amar , 2013 and 2014 as Juliana in 145 episodes of Quiero amarte, and 2014 and 2015 as Candela in 135 episodes of La sombra del pasado . She then appeared in 105 episodes of the television series A que no me dejas (2015/16), as well as in 52 episodes of the television series in the series Mujeres de negro (2016).

Her first of several supporting roles in a feature film was in the 2004 action comedy Matando Cabos , before she was given a leading role in the films No eres tú, soy yo and Seres: Genesis for the first time in 2010 .

She has a son named Luis Manuel, who was born in the late 20th century (1998 or 1999).
