Alejandro Izquierdo (born January 17, 1955 in Mexico City ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .
career
Izquierdo was under contract throughout his professional career with the UANL Tigres , with whom he won the Mexican Cup competition in 1976 and the Mexican Football Championship in the 1977/78 and 1981/82 seasons .
His only use for the Mexican national team completed Izquierdo in a friendly on August 3, 1975 in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum against the national soccer team of the GDR , which was lost 0-1.
