Aleksandar Hristov

Aleksandar T. Hristov (in Cyrillic script : Александар Т. Христов, born July 27, 1914 in Negotino ; † August 2, 2000 in Skopje ) was a Yugoslav or Macedonian legal scholar.

Life

Aleksandar Hristov studied law at the University of Belgrade and received his doctorate in 1954. Since 1944 he was a member of the Communist Party . From 1950 he was a lecturer, from 1962 professor at the Law Faculty of the University of Skopje . Since 1978 he has been a member of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts . From 1984 he was part of the editorial team of the Enciklopedija Jugoslavije and was editor-in-chief of the Macedonian editorial team of this encyclopedia.
