Aleksander Świętochowski (born January 18, 1849 in Stoczek Łukowski , Russian Empire ; † April 25, 1938 in Gołotczyzna ) was a Polish writer , critic and political publicist during the period of positivism , the literary epoch of Poland after the failed January uprising in 1863.
Life
Świętochowski worked for the Przegląd Tygodniowy magazine from 1871 to 1874 . In 1881 he founded the weekly Pravda , which he edited until 1902.
