Aleksandra Korejwo
Aleksandra Korejwo (* 1958 ) is a Polish animator and director.
Korejwo creates cartoons using a unique technique from colored salt. She has been nominated and awarded prizes at domestic and international festivals more than fifty times. She received the Grand Prix at the Shanghai International Film Festival for The Swan , and her title sequence for The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit on Walt Disney Pictures was nominated for an Annie Award in Los Angeles . At The World Animation Celebration , she won first prize for the film Carmen Torero , and Butterfly received the award in 2009 . In 2010 the film Fryderyk Chopin's WALTZ was shown in the category The Best of The World at the Hiroshima International Animation Festival . In 2011 the Jubilee Concerto was composed based on music by Fryderyk Chopin and poems by Pope John Paul II.
