Aleksandras Zeltinis

Aleksandras Zeltinis (born February 19, 1951 in Biržai ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school from 1957 to 1968 at the second middle school in Biržai, he graduated from 1968 to 1973 with a degree in engineering- electrician at Kauno politechnikos institutas and from 1977 to 1980 with a degree in economics at Vilniaus valstybinis universitetas . From 1984 to 1988 he worked at Lietuvos komunistų partija . From 1998 to 1999 he worked at "VELUX GmbH" in Hamburg and from 2000 to 2006 at "SMB international GmbH" in Quickborn as Director for Eastern Europe. In 2006 he worked as a ministerial advisor at the Ministry of Agriculture of Lithuania . Since 2013 he has been a member of the Seimas , a member of the European Committee.

He is a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .

He heads “Hanseatic-Lithuanian Friendship Gate Germany e. V. Hamburg ".

He is married. With his wife Simin Wieghard-Zeltinis he has two daughters.
