Alen Floričić

Alen Floričić (* 1968 in Pula , Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian artist.

life and work

Floričić graduated from the Faculty of Education in Rijeka in 1993 with a degree in sculpture . After early work in traditional media, he turned to video art . His current works mainly consist of short video loops that often address the human body. Floričić's work has been shown at group and solo exhibitions in Croatia, Europe and the USA. In 2005 he played with several other artists in the Croatian pavilion at the Venice Biennale . He lives and works in Rabac .
