Alena Neumiarzhitskaya (/ nʲɛwmʲarʒɨtskaja /; Belarusian Алена Неўмяржыцкая , Eng. Transcription Alena Neumiarzhytskaya , Russian Елена Невмержицкая - Jelena Newmerschizkaja - Yelena Nevmerzhitskaya * 27. July 1980 ) is a Belarusian sprinter .

Sporting successes

Neumjarschyzkaja celebrated her greatest successes in the 4 x 100 meter relay : She won the 2005 World Championships with her teammates Julija Neszjarenka , Natallja Salahub and Aksana Drahun in a national record time of 42.56 seconds behind the teams from the USA and Jamaica. She also won bronze at the 2006 European Championships .
