Alessandro Bernardini (born January 21, 1987 in Domodossola , Italy ) is an Italian football player .

Career

Bernardini comes from the youth of the SS Verbania Calcio , who accepted him into the professional squad at the age of 16 and for which he played four games until 2004. After a year with the first division club FC Parma , he moved to AC Borgomanero to collect match practice . There he played 61 games and scored five goals. In 2008 he joined AS Varese 1910 , for which he played until 2010. With Varese, he was promoted to the Lega Pro Prima Divisione in 2009 and promoted to Serie B a year later . He then moved to AS Livorno , for which he played 97 games until 2013 and scored one goal. With Livorno he was able to celebrate promotion to Serie A at the end of the second division season 2012/13 after defeating both Brescia Calcio and FC Empoli in the play-offs . For the 2013/14 season he moved within Serie A to Chievo Verona .

After returning to Livorno, he moved to US Salernitana in 2015 .
