Alex Kava

Alex Kava (* 1960 in Silver Creek , Nebraska , as Sharon M. kava ) is an American novelist of psychological suspense - novels . She is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime associations .

Life

Alex Kava grew up in Silver Creek, a town of fewer than 500 people in rural Nebraska. After high school, she received a scholarship to the College of Saint Mary, Omaha . There she graduated Magna cum Laude with a BA in Arts and English in 1982 .

After completing her training, Kava gained experience in the advertising and graphic design industry and founded her own graphic design agency, Square One . In addition, she worked for radio and TV broadcasters, among others. In 1992 she went back to her alma mater and worked as a public relations director .

Her debut novel Das Böse was placed on the New York Times bestseller list within two weeks . Meanwhile, more books have been produced yet, the life of the FBI - profiler continues to tell Maggie O'Dell and act of exciting murder cases.
