Alex Silva , full name Alex Silva Quiroga , (born June 15, 1993 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.78 meter tall defensive player Silva played 20 games for Club Atlético Progreso in the Primera División in the 2012/13 season . He didn't score a goal. At the end of the season, Silva and the team were relegated to the Segunda División . At Apertura 2014 he joined the Montevideo Wanderers . In the 2014/15 season he was used 25 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league and seven times (one goal) in the 2015 Copa Libertadores . There are 29 league appearances (one goal) for the 2015/16 season. In July 2016 he moved to the reigning champions Club Atlético Peñarol . In the 2016 season he played eleven first division games (no goal) and one encounter (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 at the "Aurinegros" .
