Alex dos Santos Gonçalves or short Alex (born May 20, 1990 in Teixeira de Freitas ) is a Brazilian football player .
Career
Alex played in the youth department of Grêmio Porto Alegre and started his professional career in 2008 with the Serbian club FK Teleoptik . After two years he returned to Brazil and started playing for Fluminense Rio de Janeiro . At this club he was kept sporadically in the squad and loaned to the clubs SC Internacional , CS Concordia Chiajna and Universitatea Cluj .
In 2013, Tombense FC signed him . Here, too, he only stayed in the team for a short time and was loaned to other clubs. During this time he played for América FC (RN) , for Pandurii Târgu Jiu in Romania and the Portuguese first division club Moreirense FC .
For the 2015/16 season he was loaned to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig to the newly promoted Yeni Malatyaspor . After half a season he was loaned to Capivariano Futebol Clube . He returned to Tombense in mid-2016. In the second half of 2017 he was loaned to Botafogo FC (SP) . He has been playing for EC Água Santa since the beginning of 2018 .
