Alexa Uifăleanu (born October 23, 1947 - December 17, 2013 ) was a Romanian football player and coach.
Athletic career
Uifăleanu played 214 league games for Universitatea Cluj in Divizia A between 1966 and 1979 . The greatest success here was the third place in the table in the 1971/72 season , which meant participation in the UEFA Cup . In the 1972/73 UEFA Cup , however, the team was eliminated from the competition in the first round despite a 4-1 home win against Bulgarian representative Levski Sofia . Uifăleanu had scored the goal to make it 4-1.
In the early 1990s, Uifăleanu was briefly head coach of the club, for which he was active in youth work for many years.
