Alexander (martyr)

Alexander († 172 in Apamea Kibotos ) was a Christian martyr and saint .

Alexander was executed under Emperor Marcus Aurelius together with his fellow believer Caius in Apamea in Phrygia . Martyrdom is mentioned by Eusebius of Caesarea .

Alexander's feast day is March 10th .
