Alexander Alexandrowitsch Ogarkow ( Russian Александр Александрович Огарков ; born January 27, 1987 ) is a Russian biathlete .

Alexander Ogarkov is trained by his mother Lyudmila Ogarkova , the 1979 Soviet champion. From 2005 he was a junior in the Russian national team. At the Junior World Championships 2006 in Presque Isle , he won the youth competition together with Anton Schipulin and Alexander Starych in the relay and was third in the sprint and pursuit. At the sprint competition in Haute-Maurienne on February 5, 2010 Ogarkow debuted in the European Cup with 36th place and improved in the pursuit by four places. In 2009 and 2010 he was the Russian champion in the team competition of the military patrol.

Ogarkov is a student at Kurgan State University ( Курганский государственный университет ).
