Alexander Andreevich Svetschin
Alexander Andreyevich Svechin ( Russian Александр Андреевич Свечин ; born August 17 . Jul / 29. August 1878 greg. In Yekaterinoslav ; † 29. July 1938 in Kommunarka in Moscow ) was a Russian officer.
Swetschin served in the Russo-Japanese War and the First World War . After the October Revolution he was briefly Chief of Staff of the Red Army and then professor at the Academy of the General Staff .
He was shot as a counterrevolutionary during the Great Terror .
