Alexander Auerbach (born December 24, 1988 ) is a German handball player . He is 1.89 m tall and weighs 91 kg.

Auerbach, who played for the German second division HSC 2000 Coburg in the 2010/11 season and hunted goals for the HSG Düsseldorf in the 2011/12 season, is usually used as the middle backcourt . Before that, Auerbach played at SC Magdeburg II .

In the summer of 2012 Auerbach joined the third division club 1. VfL Potsdam . In January 2013 he moved to the second division ASV Hamm-Westfalen , where he could only watch injured for a long time. In 2014 he left the ASV with an as yet unknown destination.
