Alexander Bauer (born August 16, 1995 in Wels ) is an Austrian football player .
Career
Bauer started his career at FC Wels . For the 2009/10 season he came to AKA Linz , where he played until 2012. He returned to Wels for the 2012/13 season. In August 2012 he played against SV Bad Schallerbach for the first time in the Upper Austrian League . His first goal in the fourth division he scored in the same month in a 4-1 win against UFC Eferding . In the 2012/13 season he made 21 appearances for Wels, in which he scored five goals.
For the 2013/14 season he moved to the regional division SV Wallern . In August 2013 he made his debut in the regional league when he came on as a substitute for Besfort Gashi on the first day of that season against SK Vorwärts Steyr in the half-time break. He scored his first goal in April 2014 in a 2-1 win against Villacher SV . In two and a half years at Wallern he made 47 regional league appearances in which he scored two goals.
He returned to Wels in January 2016. In the following two and a half years he completed 68 games for Wels in the Upper Austrian League, in which he scored 14 goals. In 2018 he was promoted to the regional league with the club. He then switched to the Grazer AK, which had also been promoted to the regional league, for the 2018/19 season . With the GAK he was able to rise to the 2nd division as champion of the regional league middle at the end of the season . In the promotion season he completed 27 games in which he scored seven goals.
He made his debut in the second-highest division in August 2019 when he came on as a substitute for Gerald Nutz in the 65th minute against FC Blau-Weiß Linz on the second day of the 2019/20 season . In January 2020 he moved to the fourth class ASKÖ Oedt .
