Alexander Pavlovich Dianin
Alexander Pavlovich Dianin ( Russian Александр Павлович Дианин ; born April 8, 1851 in Dawydowo; † December 6, 1918 in Petrograd ) was a Russian chemist .
Life
Dianin studied chemistry at the University of Jena, where he received his doctorate in 1877 , and at the Military Medical Academy in Saint Petersburg. He synthesized the chemical compound bisphenol A for the first time . Dianin was married to a daughter of the Russian chemist and physician Alexander Porfirjewitsch Borodin .
