Alexander Gatterburg

Alexander Gatterburg (born June 15, 1893 , † April 27, 1968 ) was an Austrian politician and landowner. Gatterburg was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1935 to 1938 .

Alexander came from the noble family of the Counts of Gatterburg . He worked professionally as a landowner, from 1914 he was the owner of the Retz and Zwölfaxing estates . He was also a first lieutenant in the reserve and was arrested in 1939. Before that, he was a member of the state parliament from May 17, 1935 to March 12, 1938 as a representative of agriculture and forestry. After the end of the Second World War, Gatterburg was a board member of the Landwirtschaftliche Kartoffelverwertungs-AG in Vienna and the Upper Austrian starch and chemical industry AG in Aschach an der Donau .
