Alexander Höller

Alexander Höller (born June 4, 1930 in Graz ; † September 6, 2019 ) was an Austrian actor .

Live and act

Höller received his artistic training in Graz and made his stage debut in 1953 at the Stadttheater St. Pölten . He was seen in more than 40 productions at the United Theater in Graz, including as Newton in Friedrich Dürrenmatt'sDie Physiker ”, as William Cecil, Baron von Burleigh, in “ Maria Stuart ”, as Count von Gloster in “ König Lear ” or as the magician in " Tales from the Vienna Woods ". He also played Duke von Alba in " Don Carlos " and Schnoferl in " Das Mädl aus der Vorstadt ". His acting career also took him to theaters in German-speaking countries (Solothurn / Biel, Zurich, Aachen, Baden-Baden). Guest performances in Wiesbaden, Hamburg and other cities followed.

In addition, he worked in television productions in the 1970s and was also active for radio ( SWF ) and as a voice actor. He first appeared in front of the camera in 1970 and ended his film and television career seven years later.
