Alexander Cardinal
Alexander Kardin , actually Alexander Maria Indrak (* 1917 in Vienna , † 1994 in Munich ) was a German artist.
Life
In the years 1934–1940 he trained in arts and crafts drawing and drafting in Berlin. Until the outbreak of war, he also studied at the art academy in Berlin. From 1940 he worked as a set painter and artist for film, but also pursued his extensive painting activities.
After the end of the war he resumed his art studies in Munich. He married Eva Schmuckler, who was born in Berlin, in 1945 and their daughter Monika was born in the same year. From 1965 he lived as a freelance painter.
