Alexander roundabout

Alexander Kreisel (born February 4, 1970) is a German swimming coach. His most famous athletes whom he trained are world champion Marco Koch and Olympian Yannick Lebherz .

Life

Kreisel is the son of local politician, teacher and trainer Günther Kreisel in Roßdorf. He learned to swim at the SG Odenwald and the Darmstadt Swimming and Water Sports Club in 1912 (DSW 1912 Darmstadt), but later switched to athletics (record high jump: 2.12 meters).

During his sports studies he had part-time jobs in swimming. Before Kreisel became a youth coach at DSW 1912 Darmstadt in 2002, he worked for SG Rheinhessen and SG Nikar Heidelberg (with half a regional coaching position).
