Alexander Müller (politician, 1828)

Alexander Müller (born July 24, 1828 in Wülfel , † April 22, 1910 in Hanover ) was a German court and brick factory owner and member of parliament.

Life

Alexander Müller studied natural sciences at the Georg-August University in Göttingen , the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University in Berlin , the Polytechnic School in Hanover and the University of Paris . In 1850 he became a member of the Corps Bremensia Göttingen . After completing his studies and doctorate as Dr. phil. he became a court and brick factory owner in Wülfel near Hanover. He was a member of the board of directors of the Hanover Agricultural Association and was director of the savings, loan and advance payment fund in the Hanover office. He was a church leader and a member of the district synod committee.

From 1867 to 1876 and from 1879 to 1885 Müller sat for a total of 5 legislative periods as a member of the constituency of Hanover 12 (Hanover) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the National Liberal Party .
