The Devil Makes Three is an American band that cannot be assigned to any specific trend, but most likely to a mixture of the traditions of bluegrass , folk and blues . The band members are guitarist Pete Bernhard , double bass player Lucia Turino and guitarist and banjo player Cooper McBean . They made their breakthrough in 2009 with the album Do Wrong Right , which reached number 1 on the US bluegrass chart on Billboard . The album I'm a Stranger Here brought her to number 2 on the bluegrass albums in 2013 and also entered the Billboard 200 official sales charts for the first time .
