Alexander Meixner (born November 16, 1991 in Dresden ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Meixner began playing volleyball in 2002 at VC Dresden and was able to win a total of four German championships with various youth teams. The player was also appointed to the U17 and U19 state selection of Saxony. Since the 2009/10 season Meixner was in the team of the second division club VC Dresden and in 2012 moved to the Saxony division Dresdner SC . Three years later he returned to what was now the third division club VC Dresden.

For his commitment he was promoted as a sporting talent.
