Alexander Nabben

Alexander Franziskus Nabben (born May 9, 1953 - December 5, 2018 ) was a German vegetarian , cook , activist and non-fiction author .

In 1980 Nabben founded Munich's first vegetarian non-smoking café Wildwuchs in Munich-Neuhausen on Rotkreuzplatz . He had the idea for this from the farm project Ireland - vegan community. The café opened in 1981.

In 2008, Nabben gave a talk entitled Milk is more than White Blood at the 38th Congress of the International Vegetarian Union .

Nabben founded the Allgäu VEGAN project, where he lived, wrote books and gave lectures until his death.
